Description

The Atlas Apex 9 4-post lift is a 9,000-lb capacity storage and service lift sized for full-size trucks, SUVs, and crew cabs. Bundled with two RJ45A 4,500-lb air/hydraulic rolling bridge jacks, this combo equips a home garage or commercial bay for both vehicle storage and full-service work — wheels-off, suspension, brakes, and tire rotations on the same lift.

The Apex 9 is ALI Certified, with diamond-plated steel runways, a single-point lock release, and a 16-position lock ladder backed by a double-lock safety system. The lift reaches 86″ at the top of the runway with 81 1/4″ of clearance underneath, leaving room to park a vehicle below while another is raised overhead.

Power runs from a 110V motor on a 30-amp dedicated circuit, so the lift operates on standard residential service without a panel upgrade. Hydraulic oil is filled separately — 3 to 5 gallons of AW32 or AW46 is required and is not included.

Construction

Underneath the runways, the Apex 9 uses a 7/16″ cable system running over 6″ steel pulleys, with a 3 1/2″-diameter hydraulic cylinder and an in-line cylinder overflow restrictor valve. The runways are diamond-plated for grip and finished in powder coat.

RJ45A Rolling Bridge Jacks

Each RJ45A is a 4,500-lb air/hydraulic rolling bridge jack that rides along the runways of the Apex 9 to lift wheels off the deck for service. Operation is air/hydraulic on 70–115 PSI shop air (external air supply not included), and the scissor mechanism delivers level lift with multiple safety lock positions.

Lift arms extend from 30″ to 60 1/2″ pad-to-pad and fit runway openings between 36″ and 54″. With the supplied chrome adapters, the jack reaches 18 1/2″ of lifting height; without adapters, 11 3/4″. Nylon rollers and a steel wheel underneath keep the jack moving smoothly down the runway. A 4-piece truck adapter set is included with each jack for raising larger vehicles that need additional pad height.

This combo ships via freight on multiple pallets — the Apex 9 lift in a 17-foot crate at 2,975 lbs, and each RJ45A in a 39 1/2″ x 23 1/2″ x 12 1/2″ crate at 380 lbs. Please note that if you order an Atlas item, your delivery location must be able to accommodate a 53′ truck.
