Description

The Katool KT-MP5 frame cradle set is a four-piece adapter pack for two-post lifts, built to give a secure, frame-rail contact point when lifting trucks, SUVs, and other body-on-frame vehicles. Each cradle stacks on top of the lift arm pad and adds a tactile rubber contact surface inside a steel cup, sized for vehicles whose pinch-weld or rocker pads aren’t a good match for a standard rubber lift pad.

The cradle is built from welded steel with a rubber contact pad. Each unit adds approximately 2 inches (50 mm) of additional contact height to the lift arm. The four mounting holes in the rubber pad provide grip and reduce slippage on a frame rail, and the surrounding steel walls keep the vehicle’s frame seated inside the cradle during the lift.

The KT-MP5 is sold as a set of four, one per arm of a standard two-post lift. Use cases include trucks and SUVs with exposed frame rails, body-on-frame vehicles where a flat lift pad doesn’t seat correctly, and shop workflows that frequently move between unibody passenger cars and frame-contact trucks. Always verify the cradle clears underbody components on the specific vehicle before raising the lift.
