Description
Description
The EMAX ESP07V120V1PK package pairs a 7.5 HP two-stage Silent Air compressor on a 120-gallon vertical tank with a 58 CFM refrigerated air dryer, covering both the air supply and the clean, dry air your tools and finish work depend on in one purchase. The compressor delivers 31 CFM ā 26 CFM at its 175 PSI maximum ā on 230V single-phase power, with an estimated pump life of 70,000 hours.
Silent Air is EMAX’s patented noise-suppression system. It targets intake noise ā the loudest source of compressor sound ā with noise-reducing baffle plates and high-capacity filter media that provide up to 1000% more filtration than standard setups. The result is operation up to 50% quieter, at or below conversational volume (each 10 dBA drop reads as half as loud to the human ear). And unlike enclosed cabinet systems, which are costly and restrict service access, the silencer is easy to service without compromising accessibility.
The pump is pressure-lubricated, not splash-lubricated: a gear-driven oil pump mounted to the rear of the crankshaft delivers a continuous flow of oil to each bearing point, keeping bearings cool and extending pump life. Each crankshaft and connecting rod is rifle-drilled for direct oil flow to high-friction wear points, a spin-on automotive-style oil filter keeps the oil clean, and a liquid-filled analog gauge lets you monitor oil pressure accurately. This is the most effective lubrication method for high-stress, continuous-duty environments.
The included EDRCF1150058 refrigerated dryer is rated for 58 CFM at up to 230 PSI and runs on its own 115V supply. A built-in coalescing filter removes oil, solids, and particulates from the air stream into a drain trap, and an automatic drain expels the collected moisture. It uses R134A refrigerant and handles inlet temperatures up to 140°F in ambient conditions up to 122°F.
The compressor weighs 1,049 lb and the package ships via freight ā contact sales@mygaragesupplies.com or call 307-381-1810 to schedule delivery.
Features
100% Cast Iron Pump
All major pump components are cast iron ā crankcase, cylinder heads, cylinders, connecting rods, crankshaft, and high-pressure piston. Cast iron handles high-duty-cycle compression with a rigidity aluminum components can’t match, and there are no aluminum sleeves beneath the paint.
Pistons and Connecting Rods

The cast iron high-pressure piston withstands heavy loads and prevents cylinder scoring, while the low-pressure piston in this two-stage design is aluminum for balance and efficiency at its lower (~45 PSI) operating stress. CNC-machined solid cast iron connecting rods maintain strength at the rod’s base ā the point where aluminum rods commonly fail ā and replaceable bearing inserts and wrist pins make the rod assembly fully rebuildable rather than throw-away.

A four-ring piston design with precision-engineered overlap rings ā two oil control rings that remove excess oil on the downstroke and two compression rings that seal under compression ā minimizes compression loss, reduces oil carryover, and extends ring life. A rifle-drilled oil port carries oil through the crankshaft and up the connecting rod to the piston pin and bearing for continuous lubrication.
Pressure-Lubricated Oil Pump

The automotive-style gear oil pump pressurizes the internal crankshaft bearings and upper connecting rod assembly. A bleeder valve allows quick priming, an adjustable regulator sets oil pressure precisely across RPM ranges, a liquid-filled gauge gives clear pressure readings, and the spin-on automotive-style oil filter simplifies oil changes.
CNC-Machined Disc Valves
Precision surface-ground concentric ring (disc) valves seal better and last longer than the feather or fixed reed valves common in this class. Service is simple ā remove the retainer, lift out the valve for inspection, and reinstall in minutes.
Cast Iron Cylinder Heads

Solid cast iron heads avoid the head-gasket failures aluminum heads are prone to. Tapped holes provide superior fastening strength, the head maintains rigidity under demanding conditions, and the disc valve design keeps the head gasket sealed without retorquing.
Cylinder Construction

Cast iron cylinders are CNC-machined for flatness and precise bore concentricity, reducing oil carryover and supporting long piston life. Deep cooling fins maximize surface area for cylinder cooling, deep-bored and threaded holes allow proper head-bolt torque, and every cylinder is precision-honed for easier break-in and longer ring life.
Heavy-Duty Cast Iron Flywheel

This 7.5 HP pump runs a 20-inch cast iron flywheel with two B-style groove belts and nine large cooling fins. The flywheel’s mass generates greater kinetic energy, reducing amp draw and energy consumption, while the multi-belt B-width drive provides more grip surface, lower belt tension, and less strain on motor and compressor bearings than a single narrow A-width belt.
Dual-Bolt Belt Tensioner
The dual-bolt tensioner makes belt adjustments precise while keeping alignment true ā no pry bars required ā reducing belt wear and improving serviceability.
Pump Mounting Riser
The pump mounting plate riser raises the pump to allow 360-degree airflow from the flywheel across the oil reservoir, and lets air flow under the pump for maximum cooling.
Electric Auto Drain
A dual-timer electric auto drain expels moisture from the receiver tank automatically. The interval is adjustable from 1 to 45 minutes, and the open-duration of each drain cycle is adjustable as well.
Continuous-Run Operation
The unit is continuous-run equipped with a 60% duty cycle rating. At preset pressure, the unloader works with the pilot valve to hold the intake valve open so the motor keeps running instead of repeatedly starting under load ā cutting amp draw by up to 60% while unloaded and reducing electrical and mechanical wear. Under high duty cycles (over 40%), a ball valve connected to the pilot valve can be opened for continuous-run operation.

Warranty
The compressor carries a 1-year standard warranty covering defects in material, workmanship, and parts, including one year of warranty labor from an authorized technician. Registering at emaxwarranty.com and following EMAX’s maintenance schedule with EMAX SMART OIL extends coverage to a full 5 years, and participation in the SMART OIL auto-ship program extends the pressure-lubricated pump to a limited lifetime warranty ā non-prorated, with no hour limits ā with all other non-wear components covered for 5 years.

To stay in warranty, change the break-in oil within 70 hours of first use, then change oil every 6 months or 1,000 hours (whichever comes first) using EMAX SMART OIL, and maintain proper oil level. The 5-Year Extended Warranty Kit (EFKIT008AWBS), designed for 5ā10 HP Silent Air electric models, is sold separately and includes the components and lubricants the maintenance schedule requires.
The refrigerated dryer carries a 1-year standard warranty including one year of warranty labor; registering and purchasing one Airbase dryer filter replacement kit per year extends it to 3 years.
FAQ
What electrical service does this package need?
The compressor runs on 230V (+/- 10%) single-phase power with a 50 A recommended breaker and 38.9 A full-load amperage (with 1.15 service factor). The dryer runs on a separate 115V single-phase supply.
How quiet is it?
Silent Air’s patented intake silencing makes operation up to 50% quieter ā at or below conversational volume. Each 10 dBA reduction reads as half as loud to the human ear.
Can it run continuously?
Yes ā the unit is continuous-run equipped with a 60% duty cycle rating. For applications over a 40% duty cycle, the ball valve connected to the pilot valve can be opened for continuous-run operation, which keeps the motor running unloaded instead of repeatedly starting under load.
What maintenance keeps the warranty active?
Change the break-in oil within 70 hours, then every 6 months or 1,000 hours with EMAX SMART OIL, and register the unit at emaxwarranty.com. The standard 1-year warranty applies without maintenance obligations; the 5-year and limited lifetime tiers require the registration and SMART OIL maintenance schedule.
